An award-winning concept artist, Daniel's art has been recognized in such prestigious international competitions as Spectrum (13, 14 and 15), Expose (4, 5 and 6), Communication Arts, Into the Pixel (2005, 2006 and 2007) and more. In addition to his concept art work, for the past five years Daniel has served as art director for Arenanet's hit MMORPG Guild Wars. He also oversees visual development for NCsoft North America, as Chief Art Director. Daniel's background was initially in industrial design. After dedicating a few years to product design and teaching, he moved into interactive entertainment software development in 1993. Prior to his work with NCsoft and Arenanet, Daniel was art director for a variety of other industry heavyweights, including Squaresoft, Zipper Interactive, Electronic Arts and Microsoft. |
