Submitting Artwork for Into the Pixel

Please read the submission qualifications before submitting artwork for Into the Pixel.The deadline for submitting artwork is April 17, 2013.

  1. To submit artwork for Into the Pixel you must first join by clicking this link or by selecting “Join Into the Pixel” from the menu to the left
  2. After you have created your profile, log in and select “Activate Uploads Now” from the left navigation pane under “Artists.”
  3. You will be taken to Paypal to pay for the submissions. The cost to upload is $100 for every 3 uploads. There is no limit to the number of piece you would like to submit
  4. You will receive an email indicating your ability to submit artwork, please allow one business day for transaction approval.
  5. After you log back in, use the “Upload My Artwork” link on the left
  6. Click on the “Upload Image” icon and fill out the required information
  7. Click on the “Save Image Info” icon to proceed to the upload page
  8. In the next window, browse for your image then hit upload
  9. Repeat these steps for every individual piece and you’re finished!
  10. All individual artwork must be submitted along with an executed copy of the ITP Artists License Agreement found here. Please send to finalized agreement electronically to Claudio Tapia.

Submission Qualifications


 

  • Acceptable submissions include art from current-generation, and next-generation titles which will be published in the current calendar year or will be published in the future and must include confirmation of ship dates.
  • Art may consist of in-game or concept art, including character, environmental/landscape or other artwork used in the creation of games.
  • Submissions may not be art from packaging, marketing, or advertising pieces created by in-house or external agencies. Remember, this is the opportunity for game artists to submit the artwork that goes into the process of creating and building games, yet is rarely showcased to the art-loving public.
  • Art must not contain artist signatures.
  • All individual artwork must be submitted along with an executed copy of the ITP Artists License Agreement found here. Please send to finalized agreement electronically to Claudio Tapia.
  • The deadline for submitting artwork is April 19, 2013.

 

 

 

Now in its tenth year, Into the Pixel is the one annual opportunity for video and computer game artists to have their work critically reviewed by experts in both the digital and fine art worlds. The 2013 Into the Pixel Exhibition will premiere at the E3 Expo at the Los Angeles Convention Center in June 5-7, 2012.
